Privacy Policy — Dead Street
Effective date: August 15, 2026
Last updated: August 15, 2026
Application: Dead Street (com.tensorboat.deadstreet) — Android
Introduction
Dead Street is an offline single-player zombie survival game developed and published by Tensorboat for Android.
This Privacy Policy is short because there is very little to describe: Dead Street does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app requests no Android permissions at all — not even internet access — and contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party SDKs of any kind.
By using Dead Street, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, discontinue use of the app.
1. Information we collect
None. Dead Street collects no personal information whatsoever.
Specifically, the app does not collect, access, or transmit:
- Your name, email address, or any account information — the game has no accounts and no sign-in
- Advertising identifiers, device identifiers, or any other persistent identifier
- Location data of any kind, precise or approximate
- Contacts, photos, files, camera, or microphone data
- Usage analytics, crash reports, performance telemetry, or diagnostics
- Payment or purchase information — the game has no in-app purchases
2. Android permissions
Dead Street declares zero Android permissions. The released application does not request the INTERNET permission, which means the app is technically incapable of sending or receiving any data over a network.
You will not be shown any permission prompts while playing.
3. Data stored on your device
The game saves your progress locally using Android's standard app-private storage (Unity PlayerPrefs, an XML file inside the app sandbox). This file is not readable by other apps, is never transmitted anywhere, and is removed when you uninstall the game.
| Stored locally | What it is |
|---|---|
| Player name | A display name you type in, shown only on your own screen. Defaults to “SURVIVOR”. |
| Progression | Unlocked levels, per-level completion, XP, gems, selected and owned heroes, upgrades, achievements |
| Statistics | Best score, kills, wins, games played, waves cleared, deaths and related gameplay counters |
| Settings | Music volume, SFX volume, camera-shake toggle and amount |
| Daily run state | Current streak, last played day, best wave |
The player name is the only free-text field in the game. It is stored on your device and displayed only to you. We recommend not entering personal information such as your real full name, email address, or phone number — there is no reason to, and the game never asks for it.
4. Android system backup
Android provides an operating-system feature called Auto Backup, which may copy an app's private files — including Dead Street's local save file — to your own Google Drive backup. Dead Street does not disable this feature.
This backup belongs to you, is stored under your own Google account, and is governed by Google's privacy policy and terms rather than ours. Tensorboat has no access to it and receives nothing from it. You can turn Auto Backup off in Android Settings → Google → Backup.
5. Third-party services
No third party receives any data from Dead Street.
The game integrates no third-party SDKs — no Firebase, no AdMob, no attribution, analytics, or crash-reporting libraries. All Unity backend services (Analytics, Crash Reporting, Performance Reporting, Unity Ads and Unity Purchasing) are disabled in the shipped build.
6. Advertising and purchases
This version of Dead Street contains no advertisements and no in-app purchases. In-game gems are earned through gameplay only. Nothing in the game is monetised, and no ad network is present.
If a future version introduces advertising or purchases, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety declaration will be updated before that version is released.
7. Data retention and deletion
Because no data ever leaves your device, there is nothing for us to retain, and no deletion request process is needed. You are in full control of the game's data:
- Uninstall the app — this permanently deletes all saved game data from your device.
- Clear app data — go to Android Settings → Apps → Dead Street → Storage → Clear data to reset progress while keeping the app installed.
8. Children's privacy
Dead Street contains stylised cartoon zombie violence and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 — or, as described above, from anyone at all.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, please contact us; however, since the app transmits no data, no such information can reach us.
9. Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights of access, correction, deletion and portability over personal data held about you. Tensorboat holds no personal data about Dead Street players, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export, or delete. All game data is under your direct control on your own device.
We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined under applicable privacy laws.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if a future version of the game adds features that involve data. When we do, we will update the Last updateddate at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, describe it in the app's release notes on Google Play. Continued use of Dead Street after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
